Personally I have enough inspiration in my family, nearly all of the old people in my family that are alive have been married since their 20s.
Imo, as long as you both are mentally stable, you'll find a way to make it work at least until the kids are grown. But of course, a lot of people raised in ignorant surroundings do not think a million times before having a kid or are not raised in that type of family structure, so I can't blame them it's a deeper societal issue.

I have 5 people I can name that I know personally who have great long term relationships. Not many in my core family
I managed to have a committed 5 year 4 month relationship that didn't work in the end.
It's all love tho. I did not get married or have kids yet.
I'm careful with that part of my legacy.
