I mean it ain't the lyrics it's the delivery and flow. She doesn't sound comfortable rapping the shyt. Her tongue too heavy and her accent don't help. It sounds awkward af. Very amateur. Slick talk ain't her bag. High energy shyt is her bag.
i get it but come on man , it isnt p*ssy rap from a big female artist. take what you can get lol

It might actually be the opposite. The lack of gatekeepers is what drives wack music.

When indie labels in the south started to blow up without gatekeepers, when the internet made it easier for people to find bad music, start blogs, when data started showing that people enjoy bad music etc. that’s when it all started to fall apart.

Def Jam, Rawkus, Source, whoever. Cara Lewis and all those people from back in the days did not destroy hiphop. People having free choice is what destroyed it. There for the audience is the only ones you can blame. People were literally called c00ns, racists, uncle toms and whatnot for not wanting to have gangster or misogynistic rap in certain venues, schools, tv, radio etc.

It’s sounds wild defending them, given other dirty tricks they applied, but pushing back music is not on them

I see you're one of the ones who're mad that major labels lost the control of being able to manipulate the game and choose who we could hear on a national level. While you speak on Major Labels siphoning out the bs do you realize how many great rappers/groups were x'd out by major labels and never heard?

I can tell you were in the business as a&r, manager, street team or something.

Don’t have to be mad to recognize the shortcomings of democracy. It’s a bad system but there’s nothing better :yeshrug:
