She’s had a very safe album roll out.
They’re
  1. Using old songs to automatically hit certain certifications for the sales.
  2. Announce the album months in ad
  3. Use a legendary Hov song as one of the first singles.
Album better be good.

Sounds exactly like what a 2025 Hip Hop era version of 'Imaginary Players' would sound like.

Look nothing is topping the original but I knew she was basically going to do the female version with a similar flow to Jay. She actually was channeling Lil Kim on this honestly. The autotune hook was ehh because Rene & Angela voices just work better. Or you could have gotten someone to sing it more soulfully. Jay's version is more soulful because of this. But all things considered, she still talked her sh!t on it and that's point of the record. There's some subs in it too with that whole "My flops ain't your flops" stuff. ,

I checked the credits, Rene & Angela are credited (Music interpolation) and Jay Z is credited (Lyric interpolation). Everyone was wondering why would Jay Z be credited if it's Rene & Angela song because she modeled her whole flow after Jay. Even used some bars as well. Kendrick gave Biggie credit for "TV Off" for using his flow and bars. If she just sampled the beat then Rene & Angela would have only been credited. But it's cool not great. Again I don't have problem with using the same samples just be creative. I love "You can't feel my Pain" by Prodigy but Justice League flipped the sample on "Magnificent" dope and Ross and John Legend killed it.

It’s cute, her and her whole generation ain’t cerebral enough with their rhymes so my bar and expectations were low af. I kinda want to hear it in the context of the album. If anything it’s exposing the younger generation to a top tier 90s Jay song, kinda like what Meg did with that jodeci remix with the wu.
