Africa is far too big to be grouped all as one cuisine. Nigerians don't eat the same food as Kenyans, Ethiopians, South Africans, or even Ghanaians.

But to be honest, both regions have delicious food, especially Jamaican and Ethiopian joints.

Couple things....if you were served plantains with CURRY GOAT that place is a joke and don't serve real Jamaican food. Cabbage or salad or even my favorite green banana has to be on deck..thats how mommy makes it. IThis my mommy right here...she cook just like my real mother

It's the Spanish and French influence. Both countries love using pork in most of their dishes.
