That isn't true. America sentences people longer for crimes than any other developed country damn near..

Most countries have limits and can't sentence you longer than 25 or 35 years. America will be like, 735 years plus life lol.

The problem is deeper than that

his crimes seems to have been committed in tennessee and i'm unaware of any criminal justice reform ongoing over there. it seems he was convicted, serving his sentence and released twice before.

dude was obvious a bad egg long before the Dolph murder.

How do you know the condition of the person they was stealing the catalytic converter from? They possibly could be in just as bad, if not worse situation.. You disingenuous asf because you never ever think about the victim of these crimes..

you misunderstood the purpose of my comment.

You pointed out the reasoning behind why someone would want to steal the convertors.. What else could've been the purpose?

because someone doubted they were stealing to put food on the table. crimes aren't solely committed to support a drug habit or for clout chasing.

nope. my point being alluding to taming of tough on crime punishment/enforcement doesn't jibe with tennessee reputation.
You think rape robbery and shooting up a bowling alley only deserved 18 months of jail time?
because someone doubted they were stealing to put food on the table. crimes aren't solely committed to support a drug habit or for clout chasing.

nor is every robbery someone trying to provide in a desperate situation

i'm convinced a lot of this recent crime wave is driven by wealth inequality. :francis:

they should look at the household income of all these kids committing these carjacking's...

how many regular everyday citizens chose to become first-time offenders by committing PPP loan fraud? too many have-nots in this country and people are looking for a comeup.

People commit crime due to "lack of opportunity" yet the victims, usually of the same race and income level since they live in close proximity, manage to go to work and EARN what they dikkheads feel entitled to take :dead:.
We need to be real, some % out there just ain't going to work. They followers and too worried about street image and other goofy shyt, that's why those same people barely tried in school

Crime really is a cascading build up of bad decisions. Young kids don't try in school, end up getting in the streets, end up going to jail, become a felon and now can't get a job, forced to go back to the streets repeatedly while cycling in and out of jail. Have a bunch of kids who grow up thinking that toxic shyt is normal and the cycle continues.

I read it's for either for joy-riding, money or just needing to from point A to B.
its for their version of joy riding which is using it to commit other crimes. like robbing people or going around breaking into cars to steal shyt out of.

Dudes in here really still trying to blame this on poverty. :mjlol:

There’s literally millions of folks out here with nothing to their name but they don’t resort to crime and robbing other poor folks of their valuables. Majority of criminals are doing this shyt for clout and because they are just naturally evil and would rather do bad to get what they want instead of working for it like normal people do. :yeshrug:

It’s a combination of the pandemic shutting down schooling, boredom, and soft ass prosecutors.
The later most pressing issue. Y’all let’s these crakkkas convince you to defund and shyt on police and this is the result
