He didnt play well in that series after that amazing Game one. Especially at home in denver
Ehh how about his game two ? When he dropped I think 35 and was shutting down kobe . The nuggets could of been up 3-0 if they didn't blow the inbounds in Game 1 and 3.... And game 5 he was very good but they kept calling fouls for the lakers
So I left Denver to lose in the second round instead of the first? Doesn't seem very wise.

Really? so you dont understand how getting to the second round gives you more of a chance to advance to the finals

Yes I understand that. But what superstar wants to get traded to a team where he at the very least he's competing for the conference finals. You could argue that the Denver team now could get in the second round (depending on their new coach), Nate Robinson addition and how good they are this season.

I don't have any sympathy for his lack of championships at the NBA level. nikkaz looked at the Bulls like :scusthov: but they were ONE scorer away from bein a title team. If he signed with the Bulls, he'd have at least on title. I guarantee that. I dont know if either side were considering one another tho

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
They can't get out the first round :dwillhuh:

Has been easier to get out the first round in the East the past decade or so. Not the biggest accomplishment to get to the 2nd round. Contending, ie, getting to the Conference ship, is where it's at. Also, Melo was apart of quite a few of those Nuggets teams that couldn't get out of the first round. He was partially to blame. A big reason those teams lost was their lack of mental toughness. Something wouldn't go their way and they would just crumble. Leadership starts with the head coach--ie GK--and the leader of the team--ie, Melo. And they didn't always have strong leadership. A big reason for 2009's successful playoff run was the leadership of Chauncey.

He was a bear in game one. From what I could remember, he still played pretty well, just not as dominant. That was a good Lakers team they lost to. They just didn't execute down the stretch and couldn't close out games.

See I know how the west was it I don't want to hear that excuse used to downplay melo advancing because all last season all we heard was how he loses in the first round . The nuggets were the favorites and hadHCA on a court they dominated on during the season . The Knicks and nuggets both were higher seeds so that they could play easier first round Matchups , the nuggets didn't live up to their end.
Cp3 has also never been to the WCF. So I guess you agree that he's overrated

That never happened..

And lets not play the IF game because it goes both ways. Lakers could have been up 3-0 IF they shot better from the line in game 2

In the Nuggets' Game 2 victory over the Lakers, Carmelo Anthony limited Kobe Bryant to just two buckets on six attempts when isolated one-on-one. Melo's teammates couldn't cope as well, however, allowing Bryant 16 points on 8-for-14 shooting.

Shh Stanley anything else you want to say ? If they could inbound the ball in game one you would of been down 1-0 already in my scenario

I f
:comeon: You had soo many more fan bases to gloss over (Lakers, Hawks, Heat) who willingly and purposely rustle Knicks jimmies, and yet you settled on Bulls.[/quoted] ..
Idk who you are but the poster I quoted is a bulls fan so how about you ask first before trying to be smart
