It would have to be a 3 maybe 4 team deal

I feel like KOQ as their backup PF/C would make that a hard deal to say no to for the Celtics. Ainge is arguably the best trader in the league though so the Knicks would have to stay firm on getting those Brooklyn picks.

Flip side that new CBA makes getting Gordon Hayward tougher and Melo and him aren't that different production wise.

Lol no he's not. And love is a great rebounder. He's got great instincts and knows how to position himself. He's not even athletic yet still gets double digit rebounds. Melo doesn't have the motor to be a consistent double digit rebounder

This really might be the only viable option. Clippers would be fools to part with Griffin for Melo. Melo doesn't make them anymore a contender than what they are now and he's 33 years old. The Cavs would be complete fools, they finally figured out how to get Love involved and he's played a lot better than Melo had this season. Melo wouldn't even start for them.
