I'm gonna answer it billups and stat were injured last year, so off top no felton and stat....you tell me where the pre melo knicks are getting with out stat and felton

against miami they lost two point gards and the 2 guard and the pf for at least two game.

You gotta take injuries in consideration

55 games of Melo and 47 games of Amare if they are both the franchise guys that they have been purported to be should be enough for better than a 7th seed. It was Amare's fault he missed those games vs. MIA, it's not like he got hurt playing. Maybe the team would have been in a better position to deal with those injuries if they had added Melo to the group that was playing well together rather than traded everybody but Amare for him instead.

The Empire State
knicks lost
Your a Hawks fan.
Melo is always going to be a fat bum. He like the black captain america but the flabby version. Instead of getting injected that super soildier syrum dude got injected with that larry holmes syrum what makes you forever flabby

:what: You're a cornball

melo will never get a title:wow:

Right & it took LeBrenda to team up with 2 other all stars plus a shortened season to win a ring.

Melo stans will forever use that one WCF appearance as their crutch. :heh:

yeah, I remember that season too. I also remember the summer before when the owner Stan Kroenke told the FO to trade Melo after the Lakers swept the Nuggets in embarrassing fashion and Melo ended up apologizing to Kroenke for his pathetic performance in the playoffs and promised to take his conditioning, commitment on defense and attitude towards the regular season seriously -- in other words, seeing the Hornets/Rockets in the first round as opposed to the Lakers/Spurs.

if Knick fans want that Melo, you gotta make fat boi sweat. :yeshrug:

statistically that was Melo's worst yr since his second yr in the league, he didn't explode until late in the yr/playoffs. He has his lowest per and ts that yr, so explain to me how the pressure from kronke actually helped melo play better? When statistics say otherwise?

Melo played below avg that whole year

because Melo's biggest flaws/criticisms had to do with everything except scoring. :heh:

it may have been one of Melo's worst seasons from a statistical/shooting perspective, but that had a lot to do with him actually expending energy on the defensive side of the court and deferring to his teammates.

Bullshyt Melo was the same ole Melo as far as passing and rebounding , he was hurt which was why his scoring numbers dropped, he took less shots cause he was hurt with bone spurs in both elbows and a broken hand. The media jumped on that he had his best season shyt when the nuggets advanced past the first round

Fact... Melo played much better the year before during the reg season, he passed the same rebounded more, turned the ball over the same and way more efficient, his defensive rating and defensive presence was the same as it was the yr before, he even avg more steals and blocks the prior year, he didnt play better that year, they just got futher in the playoffs because of the seeding and them facing the wack ass hornets

You know and I know if the Melo, ai team from a yr before faced those same hornets the nuggs would have won in 4 or 5 games.

You really wanna compare Melo to Bron? :comeon: Do you really? Bron is discernably better at every facet of the game outside of scoring. Yet even in scoring he scores more at a more efficient clip.:lolbron: If you wanna try to compare this nikka to Lebron then you must really be desperate and just grasping at straws. We gonna act like Melo didn't go to NY to team with Amare and they have done nothing but be first round fodder? :stopitslime:
