He's in the East now and that means having to face the Heat, Celtics, Pacers, Sixers and even Hawks. All good to great defensive teams who have wing players that can put points on the board. That means you're not getting into a shootout against these teams like you did out west. You'll have to put up the points you can get against their defense and then stop them on the other end.

Moving to the East doesn't seem to be such a great move now.

Its only about him getting his & you & other NYK fans know this...your best basketball in over a decade happened this season with Fat Melo on the sidelines.

Well the Knicks finished over .500 both years so that question is irrelevant .quivk how many times have the hawks been in the ecf with joe Johnson ??The nerve of a team with joe johnson calling someone else overpaid . He carried us to the playoffs during the hardest stretch of the season with both amare and Lin hurt .
The best basketball in over a decade ? We did better with Woodson and melo not to mention 6-1 with Lin stat and melo.

So what did melo do for us ? Beat the bulls bucks pacers celtics hawks magic to get us into the playoffs you dummy despite having a bad year . You Couldn't even beat a flabby celtics team
