The conspiracy is dude couldn't even get an invite to a training camp, but teams are giving 40 year old G-Leaguers a shot (Nets). It's bullshyt.

Melo should’ve played the politics better. :manny:

The fact that LeBron can’t get him signed always has me like :jbhmm:

Jared Dudley is a solid team defender

And you are mentioning guys who are back end of the bench guys at this point in their career. Melo is not trying to be a god damn 12th man use common sense.

No sh*t Sherlock, which is why I'm brought those names up. He's definitely better than those cats.

What is the point of bringing up those names when Melo isn’t taking a fukking Lance Thomas role dummy

The point is if Melo isn't in the league because of his lack of "skills" than neither should those other cats, stop being f*cking stupid.

MELO AND HIS REPS HAVE SAID
HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR A CONTENDER.

HE COULD HAVE EASILY PULLED A VINCE CARTER MOVE AND BENCHED UP
FOR SOME BUM SQUAD.

it’s hard for me to feel sorry for him if this is true. Because it’s different if he can’t get an NBA job AT ALL. From the sounds of it...he’s not being blackballed, he’s just being choosey. if he signs with a bum team...shows that he can handle coming off the bench and serving as a Vet leader/elder statesman to the young guys...that could be his audition for a contender. But if he thinks he’s just gonna sit idle until a championship caliber team decides he’s important enough to make a priority...he may as well just retire.

I think he should be in the league but I can certainly see why he is not. its not his ability. he was too arrogant and contradictory regarding his contributing role ever since he left NYK. he has been on a campaign to clean that up but its too late. no one believes him.

The man can’t defend, isn’t effective with his offense which is outdated, and just doesn’t contribute anything positive to a team at this stage of his career, especially a good team

It's his ego, and the inability to see he isn't who he once was (not too dissimilar to his apologists) - even players have spoken about it.

You know for all the talk of a big 3 surrounding OKC a couple of season’s back it’s beginning to feel like that was the first of two “chances” he actually got similar to what he is looking for now. It can’t be understated how much the predicament with Phil may have resonated throughout the league. The cold reality is it was never that serious with Melo. nikkax better not be surprised when Lance Stephenson is ruled eligible in the spring and he ends up on a squad before Carmelo

My Pops Forever RIP
Dudley is a glorified towel boy at this point fam.

Hacking motherfukkas is not playing good defense. And Melo is a good locker room presence. Their has been plenty of ex teammates of his who have said this on record.
Dudley knows that though. Melo doesn’t wanna do Dudley’s job.

If he signed with a team like Brooklyn, I’d give you 3 weeks before you call for him to start over Joe Harris.
