You kept records and receipts. Even for the birthdays and christmases outside of what you were mandated to by the court. The brother you were responding to was saying he and his ex-girlfriend didn't need the courts, they were taking care of it between themselves. At least, that's how I read it. I was saying she was in control of that situation and he would be foolish to think he was in control. She could decide to take him to court at any time. Ten to one the brother doesn't have your accounting method to help his case should it go there.

I'm not the only one who has seen what happens when verbal agreements go sour. It's a terrible thing. I don't want anyone to go through that. I just want the brother to be prepared.

Nas shouldn't be required to pay her tuition at all if we gonna keep it all the way 100

There is no law that says any parent has to pay their grown ass kid's college tuition except for child support laws

When the parents are still together there is no court anywhere that will make either of those parents pay for their grown kid's college tuition even if the parents are billionaires

Once a child turns 18 they are to provide for themselves, and are no longer the responsibility of the parent

I aint saying it's ok to leave your baby out there, if he was not taking care of his child (key word "child"), that would be one thing

But no parent anywhere owes anything to a grown ass adult and 18 years old is a grown ass adult

Yall crazy if you think Nas could just give his baby mamas a reasonable amount of money for what it takes to raise a child,along with some nice extra shopping money for them to buy theyself something nice and that would be that:mjlol:? These women got friends who got friends,or they can just google to find out the going rate for a rappers baby based on documents and gossip,they gon roll the dice in court and hope the court system bleeds that nikka blind monthly and I think they did get Nas originally.

It takes a lotta trust from both sides but mostly the mans if he decide to not pay through the court....you gotta trust she will never get bitter about any of your future relationships,you gotta trust she will never meet another nikka or friends who get in her ear and tell her she can get more through the court....you gotta trust ya baby mama will never be in a position to need government assistance,or will be dumb enough to try to file for it "just to see:lupe:" and set off the alarm cuz she about that welfare fraud life....you gotta trust you not gon get a better job in the next 18 years,and you gotta trust another person is gon trust you:wtf:...it don't matter how many receipts/checks you keep in alotta states,the court is gon consider that shyt nothing but a damn GIFT and will still get you for that back c/s with interest:mindblown:...the court wanna get they cut one way or another....my cuz was off the books and got got:snoop:,another nikka sent receipts to show he was paying child support and still got a letter from the courts for back child support years after the fact.

I used to say I would love to be off the books if I ever had a baby mama but its too much trust involved:whew:,at least with the courts off the rip you know the bullshyt you dealin with...off the books you might see bullshyt round the corner:pachaha:...if its workin out great,but without knowing everybodys situation and what state nikkas is in I hate to see people give that advice out to stay out of the court system with child support,or for nikkas to take they baby mamas possibly well intentioned offer when she says "just pay me something every month and I wont put you on childsupport:usure:"....she might mean well but if she don't know the rules of her state the MAN if he don't got custody will be the one to get fukkED behind his/her ignorance...she wont be paying back child support,the MAN will....the bill gon miss her like a mafuka even though she mighta been getting welfare the whole time not payin a dime and he was actually payin child support.

Son u have literally NO idea how shyt works u judgemental ass nikka...ALL it takes is an unstable baby mother to make shyt hard to deal with...a crazy BM can just put u thru shyt for nothin...don't u get it?..I know a nikka who was tryna get custody of his kids..dude had a GREAT job..he did community work..like outreach programs for he youth..dude got references from the fukkin MAYOR fam..his baby moms had CPS cases on her n all that..she was unstable..and they STILL gave him a hard time getting his kids..it took that nikka THOUSANDS of dollars in lawyer fees n shyt like that..and after like 2 YEARS he FINALLY got custody...all it takes is for a bytch to be spiteful and miserable to run and around and spread shyt about u..u nikkas are FORTUNATE y'all don't deal wit that..but get off that sucka shyt actin like brothas and men in general don't have a hard time in this country when it comes to child support..custody..and alimony..with ur mentality..I can just accuse u of some shyt and fukk a trail or anything..ur guilty..fukk outta here and get a grip on reality..also..for the record..that receipt shyt don't mean nothin..u could show a million receipts and depending on if the judge wants to or not they don't even gotta look at that shyt..
