Carnival Cruises sail under the Panama flag. So they only have to hold to that country's laws, when outside of the 12 nautical miles away from the coast of a country. So, if none of those rules contradict the laws of Panama, they can do it.

You have a choice in this too. You can refrain from using their cruise service in favor of another one. Besides, Carnival Cruises is considered one of the worst in the business by many people, Royal Caribbean has quite a bit better reputation. A friend of my wife characterizes the difference like riding "Spirit Airlines" (Carnival) versus riding "Delta Airlines" (Royal Caribbean). You don't have to give them your money, if you feel their rules will hinder your enjoyment of the cruise experience.

nikkas may not be getting shot on a cruise line but they getting into fights and having brawls. I cruise on Carnival and Royal Caribbean but branching out to others. My last cruise was on Carnival.

Ordinarily I'd tell you that you could have a pretty damned good experience on Carinival cruises since I cruised for damn near a decade in my 20's going into m 30's but it looks like as if societal decay has finally claimed the line and you gotta filter out the dregs (Current Carnival Cruisers) and opt for the better ships.
Royal Caribbean, Disney, Norwegian, rode 'em all (Pause) and the best fun I had were on the cheaper more accetably ratchet Carnival ships. Only ship I had as good a time on was, believe it or not, the Costa Concordia.....and the captain on that one (Not the one that flipped the ship) was fukkin' Wyldin' too.

Sure they do, and if those people were to actually get off the boat with that illegal product, then the local authorities would have every right to do something about it. But in the middle of the ocean? Port stop in the Caribbean? A stop at Cancun? C'mon now. You think those places give a damn about weed? They just want you there spending money. Again, I'm all for disallowing it just due to the courtesy of others. But this "legality" take while they are dispensing copious amounts of alcohol is just insane to me.

Vacay on a cruise ship is the optimal place to spark up, it goes hand in hand. Weed doesn't cause aggressive behavior, it has the opposite effect. So if I'm a person of non white descent, that new policy would be the one I'd feel targets my group if anything.

A lot of time is invested in ignoring white trash or pretending they don't exist, when their behavior is just as ghetto if not more than anyone in this country. I was invited to go a birthday celebration cruise. The cruise line was Carnival and I already knew what to expect We went to karaoke one night and for the most part it was cool until women wanted to get on stage and not know the words to songs and just twerk... embarrassing

Spent the day in Cozumel tequila tasting. Got back on the boat, some young man died and the employees couldn't get into the room
