There's a plethora of West Indians that do Labor, in America and have the day off. The original parade was in Feburary which correlated to Carnival in Trinidad but it's brick in Feburary in NYC. So yea, this broad is a bird to the utmost extent.

Carnival is all over the Anglo Caribbean not just the Trinidad. It has its troots in Lent and African traditions. But even Brazil has their own Carnival and so does Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
