yea. ive been hearing rumblings about ruffhouse making a comeback all year. i dont know if they ever officially folded or not but theyve been pushing for a resurgence.

you talking stupid. He dropped a eastcoast street album for a debut, hit 160 something K and 2nd on the charts.... think about it? That's pretty fuking hard to do. Like the bul said... nobody had any illusions - he was gimmick enough and he was too street to do 300K+ out the gate. Those are superstar/Legend numbers... you gottta be a gimmick like Wayne ot at least have a gimmick, sing like Drake, be a legend like Kanye or be white lil Eminem to do those type of numbers the first week out as a Hip Hop artist.

The bul did great for what he is and what type of music he doing... he got a a solid fan base.

yes indeed......but with an asterisk next to it.

meek is bigger for his era. you cant deny that. but at the end of the day, it really doesnt mean much since this is the weakest era for hip-hop.

back to people talking down on cassidy's hits. your favorite rappers wouldnt have the hits they had if they too didnt have hot beats. and alot of them dont really do hooks either.

if cassidy's hits should be credited to swizz, kelz, etc, then most of jay-z's hits should be credited to somebody else too.
