He was hating on the cass to be on meek side while not tryin to hate on cass TOO much in case he needed to crawl back to him

Even at the end of that Innocent Man song he's saying he was buckin to protect his family. He wasn't professing his innocence on some "I didn't do anything" shyt, it was on some phony "self-defense, i did what i had to do to protect my family" shyt, he aint buck at nothin. I believe his version of what happened though in this interview, he's just full of shyt frontin like he wasn't tryna get tough guy points subtly off someone else's body.

Trendsetter Shady. And he was more saying AR-Ab can't fight. He said if someone slapped AR-Ab he wouldn't fight them. He did an interview recently, he basically sounded like Royce in the Beef DVD. He said AR-AB has a bunch of shooters on his team but he don't really care but he's not dumb and he's not gonna make it easy for them to get him.

How do you know he wasn't bustin back? The police found shell casings from four guns from outside the van that dude was killed in. That mean four different people was shooting. It was Cass and 3 other people at his house. Do the math.

Fact is, Cassidy was a famous, successful rapper with a family and was fighting a FIRST DEGREE MURDER CHARGE, facing life without a parole. He got snitched on by Ar-AB's people. He STILL kept his mouth shut and beat the case. 99% of nikkas on this site would have taken the stand.

I never heard Cassidy once brag about taking someone else's life. That was some shyt you nikkas put on to him.

If I'm a black man in America, with a record, and I just beat a first degree murder charge facing LWOP, for some shyt I didn't do and that nikkas snitched on me for, I'mma talk however I wanna talk. This nikka won the lotto. Yeah, he beat a body. That's a fact. The victim died of a single gunshot wound to the chest. It was a shootout. All of them was busting at the van. Whether his bullet was the one that killed him is irrelevant.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this version of the story sounds more logical then Ar-ab version of the story. Ar-ab make it sound like he went out of his way to catch that body to save Cassidy. Cass is saying Ar-ab & company jumped a guy because he violated their friend. shyt was still hot and they didn't have any guns on them at the time so they got some guns from Cassidy. After the shooting Ar-ab and Cassidy got booked because of Ar-ab people.

Ab still caught that body but the reasoning behind it is different.

This is just speculation of course, but I think Cassidy was closer friends with the gangsta who got "out gangsta'd" (Ab's words) and the nikka who got stomped out than Ar-Ab. According to Cassidy, he wasn't close with Ar-Ab like that and didn't sound like he was interested in working with him at first. When the goons came back for revenge for the stomp out, Cassidy answered the door and said Ab and his crew was in the back, basically like he wanted Ab to get hurt. Cassidy was salty that the nikkas he had around him (the people Ab claims was extorting him) weren't thorough enough to take out Ab.
