Cassie has absolutely no reason to expedite a settlement just to make diddy look good and keep him out the news. Just cause diddy offered doesnt mean she has to take it immediately. She could have let it drag out in the news cycle a few days or even weeks before accepting a settlement. It says more about her than him that she dropped the case so quickly. It tells me diddy was going to come at her legally with a counter suit and gave her an ultimatum to drop it in 24 hours or something.

Puff is a brand. He's a business onto himself. You pay to make it go away, but there's some things you don't pay to go away. This isn't one episode that skirts the law and it's a case if he said she said. Cudi cosigned and there's seemingly other people willing to cosign.

Those rumors stay around for life. If NONE of this is true, I'm fighting it in court. Personal reputation is one thing, but she is messing up my brand and ability to maximize my future earnings. I'm fighting that if it's outright false.

100%. Most of Puff's value is caught up in his viability as a brand, even if he did nothing criminal his ability to market is forever tarnished. If it dragged on, he probably would have no ability to market anymore.
