With S3 likely being an adaptation of Curse of Darkness, looks like we'll be sticking with Trevor as the main Belmont for at least one more season. Wonder if they'll do anything with Christopher or skip straight to Simon (and later Richter, so they can do RoB and SotN faster).

I'm okay with sticking with Trevor for one more season. I want 10 episodes for season 3, though.

I don't know if this would be upsetting for some people but there is an African ex slave under the employment of Dracula ....

their a flashback where he gets beaten pretty severally like so I don't know if you expect that on your spooky cartoon. Based in a nes game

just want to let people know in case

I thought Isaac’s story was handled well.

To me, the biggest question the show is asking is: does humanity deserve to be here? What makes the question compelling is that the “bad guy”/Dracula’s answer isn’t without justification. Because humans were burning innocent women at the stake, and they enslaved someone like Isaac (someone with such conviction that they would sacrifice their own life to preserve an immortal demon, willingly), and all the other atrocities committed in the name of religion that the viewer sees in both seasons.

Hecktor joined Dracula and betrayed him, because in reality he just wanted to play with his toys. Isaac was truly committed to Dracula’s vision for the world.

What happened to him in the past not only explains why he would follow Dracula, but I felt like it was meant to remind us that humanity just might have earned this retribution.

I also thought it was meant to challenge Dracula, because here again is a human who exceeds his diagnosis of humanity. Wiping them all out was never the right answer. Like Alucard said, he had to know that.

Isaac’s flashback scene creeped me out, not gonna lie. But honestly, it was more because of the conversation he was having, and how it connected to what was happening. I did not see that shyt coming at all. shyt was unsettling... but it felt like it fell into this dark, occult world (and wasn’t just torture porn). In my opinion, it felt a little like Clay Burton’s story from Banshee. That was the first thing I thought watching this.
