I don't have this issue, because I live, work, and go to school in an area where there's very few white people. I had it happen a few times as a kid, but they got bored really quickly with me cause I wouldn't entertain their shyt.
But, some of the people I've met that are the worst about this shyt are Indians, especially the so-called "Americanized" ones.
They try to low-key test you to see what they can get away with.
I was working with this one Indian dude in a class last year, we finished a project and he said "That's what's up, my nikka!"
I looked at him likeand asked "the fukk did you just say?"
He wentand said "Well, I do it with so and so and they don't get upset about it."
I said "Well, I'm not so and so. You don't know who you're dealing with."
Dude didn't do the shyt again, but now none of the Indians like to work with me (which is fine with me) because they know I don't put up with that shyt.
The worst fukking part is that there are some black people who cosign this shyt. They think because Indians are darker like us, that they're somehow our "allies". But, try to date one of their women and see how they react.
I'm not trying to take this thread off-topic or anything, I just had to get that shyt off my chest. It pisses me the fukk off and I have to check someone on that shyt daily.
There's this cac at my old job who kept doing that to this hispanic dude. Everyone else joins the meeting it's Hello <name>. For him it's always hola victor (and yes he said victor with an accent).
Honestly if he woulda stole on him one day I woulda went to HR and told them the cac called me the n word just to get him fired[/QUOTE
I think I told this story before here , but when I was in high school I worked at a Leann chin
Guy- hola senior
Me- hello how are you doing
Guy- my bueno gracias
Dude was tapping at the glass the whole time talking loud as he'll
" I WANT THIS ONE etc etc"
I wanted to put dude in a coma he was so disrespectful. When he was done I said
" you clearly know I speak English, you don't need to speak to me like that, it's offensive."
Manager heard me and I got a warning
I know African Americans and Mexicans don't get along, especially In the hoods, but we share a lot of the same bullshyt hardship. If we united we could make some moves
Lets not get started on the word nikka. That's a whole different can of worms. Most white folks know not to say it but these younger ones have no problem and that's becuz the generation coming up gives them a pass
I'm sure someone's requested that you smile before though.

Well, I mean, we're talking about street slang here. It's not even just the fact that they always try to use the word nikka, it's about the fact that he and the rest of them also have the nerve to try to approach me with "That's what's up" when this dude doesn't normally use that phrase. You can TELL when someone is forcing themselves to speak a certain way, and the shyt's just awkward.
And, no, most white folks DON'T know not to say it. They might not say it around you or me, but they will say it if they think they can get away with it, especially in a corporate setting. Hell, my father works from home now because he doesn't like to have to go into work and have to deal with white people trying to bait him into arguments about the N word, and race in general. And my Dad was born in the 50s.
Happens to me all the time but I'm Mexican, shyt pisses me the fukk off
Person- HOLA compadre
Me- hello sir( clearly showing I speak English ).
Person- como estas
Me - I'm doing well( at this point I have the.
shyt happens all the time . It makes me mad. I'm clearly fluent in English and you're speaking to me like I pick tomatoes in the field . ( no hate on people that do that they actually make decent money, but most don't speak English, that's reality)
Like I just woke up an hour and a half ago. How many lines did you sniff before you came to workI hate when they do that shyt. 8am walking into work and its always an old bytch "smile don't look so mad" I look dead at her like![]()
I know exactly what you're talking about. shyt gets tiring when you never bring up race or think about it only for one or more of your white "buddies" to bring it up all the time in some kind of way.
Like I said before, and they wonder why I only hang out with my own kind these days

Some of ya'll read into day to day social interactions wayyy too much
Regular white person - "hey, what's up man"
Coli poster - "This fukking cac thinks he knows our slang. Thinks he can talk down to me and get away with it. I cant wait to get home and vent my frustrations on the internet"
