N.iggas said Boston should break their team up and look what happened last year Cavs are still a very young team. Garland’s toe was a major problem this postseason. He showed a lot of heart coming back after missing some playoff games. Mitchell and Mobley played with f.ucked up ankles. Hunter played with a f.ucked up thumb. Yes every team is banged up but when your 3 all stars are hurt and missing time in the playoffs of course you gonna lose Am I open to trading DG if it improves the team…hell yes. But I also will be content letting this team play a postseason somewhat healthy. The season was a major success considering the inexperience of the team and being in year ONE under Kenny. I bet the Celtics are glad they didn’t listen to outside noise begging them to break up Tatum and Brown Sometimes you gotta go through heartbreak in the playoffs in order to find that extra gear

What's funny, Boston had a "core" of 5 not unlike Cleveland (but more successful in the playoffs) yet their management still said fukk that and deduced that the real core was just 2 guys (Tatum and Brown); everyone else could get bushed, and two of them did (Robert Williams and DPotY Marcus Smart).

Not saying those two are equivalent to Allen and Garland (not saying they aren't either, when they were healthy) but that CLE is approaching that same crossroads / coming to jesus moment as Boston
