not suprised at those reactions. those nikkas saw the writing on the wall regarding their job security. specifically the likes of ricky davis, who can only get a triple double by throwing the ball off his own basket and then rebounding it.

darius miles was over there hating too. that bum got some nerve. especially since he came straight outta high school

LeBron was a prodigy. EVERYONE knew he what he was gonna become.
Not true, not true at all.

People knew the POTENTIAL, hell, people even knew the PROMISE he had.

But actually go back and read the articles from that time period, since I assume you weren't actually old enough to read them at the time. Everybody didn't know he'd be this. Hell, only two years ago, you had people saying he was falling off and would be done by NOW, and that was after a decade plus of sustained greatness.

NBA's Darius Miles -- Signed LeBron Jersey Targeted ... In Bankruptcy Auction

Sad news for ex-NBA star Darius Miles ... who's in danger of losing a bunch of his prized possessions in his bankruptcy case -- including his signed LeBron James jersey.

TMZ Sports has obtained court docs filed in Illinois where 35-year-old Miles -- who made more than $60 MILLION in the NBA -- filed for Chapter 7.

massive Nike collection back in 2013. 213 pairs got him $6,390.

As for Miles, his Bron jersey should fetch about $2,000 (or more) depending on the quality of the jersey.

....the irony

Damn, that is a sad. 60 million and still going bankrupt. Not as bad as Antoine Walker though.

That guy had so much potential in the league.

Damn, Darius Miles never touched any overseas paper? :francis:

Dude was just a knucklehead just shows talent isn't everything.

Dude was such a crazy athlete. Davis, Miles, rookie Bron, young Boozer was dunking everything. :wow:

That game was the most random great box score I've ever seen. He didn't just put up 47 - he had something like 12 boards, 5 assists, 4 blocks and 6 steals to go with it. Would have been epic dominance in any other situation.

It was the last game of the season and no one was giving a shyt though. :lolbron:

lol a prime Carlos Boozer wasn't going to help get Bron a chip. It doesn't matter what numbers he put up in his best year, we've all seen the guy play.

But yeah, he was surrounded by crappy players.
Nah, Booz was a pretty good player in his prime. He was an All-Star, All-NBA Third Team. He and D-Will used to eat in that Sloan flex offense, modern day Stockton/Malone back then. Those Utah teams were no joke. I could see him and LeBron having great chemistry on the P&R, he could hit the midrange, and was brolic AF, strong on the boards, good passer.

I don't know if they win a title but maybe LeBron doesn't lose in '08 to Boston that series went 7 possible upset, maybe he beats Orlando in '09 and faces the Lakers in the Finals, maybe that series against San Antonio isn't a sweep with a player like Boozer.

LeBron didn't play with guys who could put up performances like this. :manny:
35 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists in closeout game vs. Houston in '07 First Round

27 points, 20 boards against Lakers in game 3 of '08 Western Conference Semifinals

The court vision and passing ability is out of this world he had Villanueva eating, the athletecism and body at his age, crazy how the announcers were unsure if he had room to grow and this dude ended up at like 265 lb. in Miami, dude just makes everthing look easy and smooth when its not. :mjcry:

Questions on feet, baggy jersey era :mjcry:
