Yeah, cling to hope and end up with a broken down albatross of a contract eating into your cap. He's never going to be the same player, that ship has sailed and anyway you slice it he wont be worth the money.

Your team has one of the most money conscience front offices in the league, it's better to just clear the books of him because once it looks like he will never be the same you'll have to take that shyt anyway.
