We move the ball, we just can never get open most of the time, for some reason, which leads to ISO with the clock running out.

And yet Bron still averages nearly TWICE the amount of isos per game, all the while playing with more offensive weapons. The Celtics have been missing their co-offensive anchor for the entire season, so they've needed Kyrie to look to create for himself more often than initially planned.

That's a huge difference from last year though, there has to be a reason why the ball is sticking in a certain someones hands

Whose hands is it sticking in? What does that have to do with team ISO possessions?

In 2016/17, Isaiah (on the Celtics) controlled the ball for 7.0 minutes per game -

In 2017/18, Kyrie (on the Celtics) is only controlling the ball for 6.2 minutes per game -

And again, Kyrie's having to deal without his co-offensive anchor to help carry the load. By rights, his time of possession should be even higher, all things considered.

this statement would mean something if those offensive weapons were ball handlers, they haven't been though (for the majority of the season). They're guys who are catch and shoot specialists or cutters. Only ball handlers he's had who played most of the season has been Wade, who ran the second unit and essentially played the same role as Bron

essentially this stat would reflect the actual offensive system Cleveland plays with, the stats with Celtics and Kyrie clashes with quite a few narratives :ld:

It means Kyrie has to try to create for himself more because his teammates are either more limited or inexperienced offensively, and yet STILL LeBron averages nearly twice the amount of iso possessions - go figure.

Seems odd that Kyrie would have to "create more" this year when the team had less ISO with IT last year and I find it hard to believe that team was less talented than these Celtics.
