I guess I can be okay with it, given he was the best player on their only championship team in 3½ decades...

Still not sure 6 years is long enough, but whatever. Not really bothered by it either way...

Be the best player on a championship team but don’t lead the team in scoring or win finals MVP brehs. :pachaha:

Just like KG was the best player on for straight non playoff teams in Minnesota before the franchise gave up and traded him on some AD shyt. :pachaha:

it’s some clown ass nikkas on this site and you’re one of them.

Good for him, I guess.

6 years and 1 title seems like a weak argument for a jersey number retirement.
In my view, I thought something like a retired number warranted like....a 15-20 year run with a franchise. Someone who was the face of your franchise for a long time.

But these days the bar for retirement seems to be getting lower. It's not a disrespect thing. I just think to retire a number forever requires a lot.
The Heat and Mavs have retired jerseys for players who never played for them.

Lol @ equating Igadala to Paul Pierce. Paul Pierce was our leading scorer that season and every year KG was there. Defensively, KG was great but he wasn’ mvp caliber that season. How can you be mvp with Pierce and Ray Allen hitting all the big shots?

Paul Pierce was always our best player, leading scorer, the guy we gave the ball to down the stretch.

And the fact still remains, The Timberwolves were terrible for years. He couldn’t change or help the team he was on so he got traded.

Let me ask you a question, If Ray Allen and Paul Pierce gets traded to Minnesota, who gets credit for changing the culture in Minnesota after 4 straight non playoff seasons? :pachaha:

Let it go man, Pierce wasnt as good as KG.

"Wasnt MVP caliber" . Was literally the front runner for MVP until he got hurt and missed 10 games, still finished 3rd.

Do you believe Tony Parker was better than Duncan in 2007? Thats literally the same point youre arguing right now and its stupid.

Stop changing shyt in your head. And stop comparing Pierce to inferior players like Parker and freaking Iguadala. Did Tony Park lead the Spurs in scoring in 2007? Was Tony Park the go to guy down the stretch?

Yea he didn’t deserve to voted that high. Not when Paul Pierce is leading the team in scoring, and Paul Pierce and Ray Allen were knocking all the clutch shots. It was a slap in the face to Pierce and Ray, especially considering Garnett hadn’t made the playoffs in 4 seasons before coming to Boston.

Answer me this, if Ray Allen and Paul Pierce were traded to the Wolves in 08 and that team had the same success. Who gets the credit for changing around an awful Wolves team that hadn’t made the playoffs in 4 years? :pachaha:

Clown.

Parker led the Spurs in scoring during the 2007 finals which is why he won the FMVP. Same situation with Pierce. Duncan and KG were their teams leading scorers during the full playoffs, even with them being both teams most dominant defensive players.

Also, KG scored more and more efficiently in the clutch than Pierce did during the 07-08 season. Youre being too emotional about this.

KG finished 3rd in MVP voting, won the DPOY and made 1st team all-nba, 1st all defense. Pierce was 3rd team all-nba. No one had them close to eachother, its revisionist history on your part.

Clown.

They missed the playoffs for three straight years, not four. I honestly dont understand your question. KG would obviously get the most credit.... since he was a flat out better player than both of them? How is this hard to grasp? One was a MVP caliber player, the other two were not.

Again, youre being emotional. There are no statistics that indicates that Pierce was better than KG.

On/ off +11.8 KG
On/ off +9.8 PP

Two points better with KG on the floor compared to Pierce in 2008.

Clutch stats favor KG, defense favors KG etc. You have no case.

You really go gay for Paul Pierce lol, but call someone else a clown...

Stop quoting clowns black man, your life would be much simpler. You take differences of opinion way too seriously...
