Dwight Howard is in my top two least favorite players in the league
Wait, we talking Dwight or Boogie Cousins? This puts them in the eastern conference finals and gives them an outside chance at upsetting Cleveland
Plus they'd still have the assets to make another huge move

Doesn't fit really well in the celtics system so I'm confused as to why this is even a thing. But GMs do covet washed-up all-stars hoping they were just in a bad situation.![]()
Nah, he would actually help the Celtics get to the playoffs and make them a tough out, he's not what he once was but he's still better than any of the bigs they have, especially on defense.

hate on my nikka all u want -
but lets keep it 100: boogie aint even been to da damn playoffs
BOSTON – The reported interest on the Boston Celtics’ part in Houston’s Dwight Howard is accurate, but talks (for now at least) aren’t expected to go much further than the discussion phase of negotiations, according to a league source.
Boston (28-22), winners of six of its last seven and nine of 12, are very much interested in adding a player who can provide some offensive punch in the playoffs which is when the game usually slows down and teams have to rely more on executing in half court sets.
The Celtics average 44.0 points in the paint this season which puts them in the top 10, but most of that offense is generated by guards penetrating into the lane and either finishing or finding a teammate for an easy score.
Boston would love to add a back-to-the-basket center that can help generate points in the paint in a more traditional manner to complement the team’s desire to take advantage of better spacing with 3-point shots.
In addition, the Celtics are looking at possible landing spots for David Lee, acquired this summer from Golden State in exchange for Gerald Wallace.
While Lee has not demanded a trade, Boston as well as Lee’s representatives are looking at potential teams that would make sense for both Lee to play for, and the Celtics to acquire an asset or two in return that would make them potentially better.
But making a deal for Howard brings about a lot of uncertainty on and off the court.
His back and knee issues have to be a concern for any team looking to make a deal for the former all-star.
And the problems he has had with some former teammates (Kobe Bryant) and coaches (Stan Van Gundy, then with the Orlando Magic and now with the Detroit Pistons), gives reason to pause.
But the 30-year-old Howard who served a one-game suspension on Tuesday for making contact with an official, can still be a useful player in the middle.
This season, he is averaging 14.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, which are stats better than any other Celtics big man.
While including Lee in the deal makes sense, Boston will likely have to include at least one draft pick and/or a player or two as well.
And at that point, it becomes a matter of whether the Celtics believe he’s worth it.
Five, six years ago this would have been a no-brainer.
You pull the trigger on the deal and make it happen.
But Father Time is not on the best of terms with Howard lately, prompting most to believe that Howard’s days of dominant performances will be few and far between going forward.
And if that’s the case, do you really shake up this team’s chemistry (which is as good as it has been all season, right now)?
These are just a few of the hurdles Danny Ainge and the Celtics must work through between now and the trade deadline, which is just a couple weeks away.
Ill give you credit for riding for him all this time ... but cmon bro, you dont actually think Dwight > Boogie![]()
