remember DET,BOS won chips & could have both won mutli and CLE had the best player on the planet

He was the most important piece on those Magic squads, I don't think anybody would argue otherwise. But he had a great system around him, a solid complementary roster and one of the best coaches in the league. He was NOT surrounded by trash. During the season they went to the Finals:

Howard - 20 ppg
Lewis - 17 ppg
Hedo - 16 ppg
Jameer - 16 ppg

There's three players who provided near-equal offensive production (taking into account playmaking) to Dwight.
