Gang violence...
I think you're making the common mistake of believing that most republicans are NOT against crony capitalism. The truth is that if you consume mostly mainstream media then the argument against crony capitalism is hardly ever to seen by you. Most republicans are STAUNCHLY against crony capitalism, but the message against it is rarely -- if ever -- delivered to them. . . BUT ONCE THEY HEAR IT, THEY SOAK IT UP LIKE A SPONGE. That's what David Brat represented here. He gave them a message they never hear. And hopefully his win will encourage more true conservatives (and liberals) to run on that platform.
so far it seems like cutting spending and keeping mexicans out is the top priority of the mainstream tea party organizations. the tea party patriots have no mention of crony capitalism in their recent write up about this and since they apparently didnt give him any money it is hard to see how his win is the result of anything but the circumstances i described

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...-tea-party-groups-missed-the-david-brat-boat/

if the largest outsider challenge group to republicans is not even engaged in this story, it is hard to extrapolate much outside of the regional factors at play in those particular states. i need to see the tea party go ham on crony capitalism the way they do for everything else before i think this is a broad movement waiting to happen

I don't think this is some broad movement waiting to happen (atleast not for now). I didn't say that. I know it has potential to be if candidates like Brat choose to rise. And your links prove my point. These Tea party groups aren't railing against crony capitalism (that's because most of them are really just GOP/status-quo lovers in their leadership), BUT IF THEY WERE they would see that alot of the voters would drink it up.

Cenk once again proves he is one of the most important voices in this country. This is why it is unfortunate that too many people in the tea party movement are so racist - they pretty muvh 'get it' but are too racist to understand everyone else's grievances.

"Im not against business. Im against big business in bed with big government" is exactly what republicanism is supposed to be about and why I could never support a D led by the likes of Pelosi or a GOP led by people like Cantor.

Real Americans have had enough, and at this point if anyone is content with simply pointing a finger across the aisle they should be politically disenfranchised.
