Should’ve been out in July. I really think Kanye is fukking with this dude release. I’m shocked there is no new single/video for the new album which means “wants and needs” is def going to be on this, maybe”what’s next” to. It’s been a disappointing roll out as a Drake fan. What’s been the hold up? Summer is basically over now I just don’t get it.

And that's a bad thing. Quality suffers. He hasn't been making the best music since Nothing Was The Same, he's really watered down his music. More Life had some moments but i dunno. People just looking for the hit records from him.
How do you measure it? Clearly this project is lacking more than any other leading up to release
Dark Lane at least had a little tik tok dance that died shortly after the album dropped, Scorpion benefitted off the Adidon diss even if it was unintentional on Push's part
This rollout is just him cutting hearts into his hairline and fukking bytches nobody's heard of or cares about, which is why it's not sticking

Hes trying to be the people's champ not a critical darling. That lover boy aspect has always been somewhat tongue in cheek. I hated Scorpion and he's in the waning phase but he's getting like the most plays BY FAR in years where he doesn't even release albums. His coalition is multigenerational, multiracial and 100 percent intersex. But even the OVO sweatshops and OVO HQ that people were getting a little tired of hearing his shyt all the time (2013-18)
He also said way bacc that he ain't sticking around past 35 so this also might be it for him.
I do think Kendrick and Travis Scott are going to be some 4th Quarter releases. Both of them are cool, have toured on the same ticket, and they won't seem like one is stepping on the other.
