Johnny Manziel 9/2
Johnny Football, 2012-13 winner. Amazing athlete, hell of an arm. Best chance to repeat since Tebow stepped on the scene. However, I believe that his offseason has been too distracting for him. Aside from that, his supporting cast is going to drop a little. He won't have that line that A&M had last year. Additionally, you're talking about an A&M team that's only playing TWO top 25 teams (at Bama and at LSU). He's going to have to win BOTH of those games to have a shot at repeating. I honestly think that half of the Alabama football team is sitting somewhere either hearing about, thinking of, or looking at a picture of Johnny Football and Texas A&M. They're ready to ruin his shot at repeating, and Manziel/A&M might not recover. I don't expect him to fall off, I just don't see Johnny Football repeating.

Braxton Miller 13/2
There's an honest chance that Miller could win the Heisman. Meyer and OSU still have a lot to prove even though they went undefeated last year. Miller has all the tools and an offense around him to let a QB of his ability shine. Miller and OSU should roll mediocre and so-so teams all year. His signature game(s) will obviously be at Michigan and the B1G Championship. He could definitely cruise control the season and pick it up for his final two games and walk away with the hardware. However, one sloppy game, or one loss at his hands, and his hopes are dashed.

A.J. McCarron 9/1
I think that chances are high for McCarron to win the Heisman Trophy. First of all, they will get their revenge game against A&M, and if McCarron shows out during this game, the Heisman hype could start early and carry on all season. He has a great WR corp to throw to, a steady stable of Bama RBs to hand off too. There's also the (accurate) opinion of McCarron that he is a great competitor and leader. You don't make it to multiple championships without a QB like McCarron leading the team. The media loves him, he's got a hot girlfriend that people like to talk about anyway. Just like the two QBs listed before him, he could auto-pilot several games this season and turn it on against LSU (a team he is not scared of) and A&M (a game he probably wants to redeem himself on after that pick last year). The media likes maturity and progression, and McCarron has the highest chance of the QBs listed to show that. He's my favorite to win.

TJ_Yeldon.jpg

T.J. Yeldon 9/1
I think that Yeldon is the best RB in NCAA Football this year, the best RB of the Saban-Bama era, and the best player of everyone listed. Unfortunately for Yeldon, he isn't the feature back at Bama. If this were like '04 Oklahoma, where Adrian Peterson was the feature back on a run-starved offense that was ready to open the barn door and let their premier RB loose, then Yeldon would have this one in the bag. However, Yeldon will split carries with the rest of the elite backfield at Alabama, and he's got to line up behind one of the Heisman favorites. I think that Yeldon is a spectacular athlete, but I don't think that he'll have the stats to back it up by the end of the season. He would essentially have to have 400-500 yards between the A&M and LSU games to get the trophy.

Aaron Murray 12/1
Sorry, UGA fans, it's not happening. While UGA should be the favorite to win the East this year, UGA has a hell of a schedule. By the time they flip the calendar to October, UGA will have played at Clemson, South Carolina, and LSU. While these are all winnable games for Georgia, Murray just doesn't have the cake walk the rest of the Heisman hopeful QBs have. He doesn't have as many games to put up ridiculous stat-lines. There are more statement games though, so if UGA comes out motivated from last year's CLOSE (in Richt fashion) Championship appearance, then Murray could have a shot. I'm not buying it though.

Teddy Bridgewater 12/1
If there were ever a schedule to run your stats up, Bridgewater has it. If Bridgewater picks up where he left off last year, he could climb up the ranks quickly and have a seat in NYC waiting on him. He's going to have to absolutely crush the competition and have nearly flawless games to bring home the trophy though.

De'Anthony Thomas 14/1
BLACK MAMBA. There's just so much speed and craziness to that Oregon offense. I don't think that Thomas is going to have enough carries and attempts. They definitely want the ball in his hands, but he had 18 total TDs in '11 and 17 last year. He's going to have to light everyone up for multiple TDs a game.

Duke-Johnson.jpg

Duke Johnson 14/1

Jadeveon-Clowney-Hit-610x808.jpeg

Jadeveon Clowney 14/1
The de facto "If no one else wants it..." candidate. The media would LOVE to give it to Clowney if these QBs play average seasons and the RBs don't break out.

Marquis Lee 14/1
Is going to have to get involved in all facets of the offense and return game to have a chance.

Marcus Mariota 16/1

Braxton is my pick (Ohio state sucks)

Manziel is gonna miss Ryan Swope tremendously, that guy was his go to/bail out guy and made a lot of plays for him

USCe Can actually win the SEC East, if they beat Georgia, They'll run the Table until the SEC title game.

Clowney has the best Value for me at 16/1
