Feel like the main strength of the MCU has been their commitment to continuity. Its what has separated them from Sony and Fox franchises. It's what makes every film a must watch even if you are not as big a fan of certain characters. I feel like recasting messes with that, because you are not just enjoying these movies indivdually but as a collective. Writing a character off of the story makes more sense to me than recasting given the nature of the MCU. I stand by that and will continue to do so. I don't fukk with Iron Man 1 or Incredible Hulk because it ruins the immersion for me. so many ways creatively you can explain his absence. i feel like recasting is just cheap.
