Edit: i guess he didn't my bad. Still. Recasting the two primary characters of a movie. This isn't like recasting rhodey. this is like Recasting Tony Stark and Pepper Potts after Iron Man. Nobody ever recasts the main characters unless they reboot the entire franchise.

It ain't like they haven't recast people before. I know none as essential as Black Panther but I mean if you're trying to keep with continuity there's no need. The audience knows the actor is dead you can recast him and still pay homage to the man. Nobody wants to see a Shuri led movie, hell I'm sure the actress playing Shuri doesn't wanna do it. Soon as they recast T'Challa and an onscreen character calls him that, all will be alright in the MCU as long as the actor is competent. Also they got the perfect excuse to recast now with this whole multiverse thing going on.
