I know a couple. They don't complain. Love living in DC.Generally more pay = generally less corruption. Its not a non-zero thing.
If you know anyone who is a staffer, they get hit HARD with housing.

The more money I make, the more money I want to make.If you make 174k in NYC(which is more expensive that DC) you will live good. I know people here making 80k,90k,100k living well in Brooklyn or in Uptown. 174k is a good enough salary for these politicians. Plus more money doesn't end corruption. NYPD officers get paid well but they rob drug dealers of they bread or work. I have seen officer search dealers and take their money. When they take their work they have street nikkas sell them that shyt and give the money back to them. You would think an officer that makes 100k would be less corrupt but it is not the case.

that's not his complaint though, it's that he has to maintain a life in his home state of utah AND live in DC. obviously $174k would be enough if he only had to worry about one home. You can find a place to live in the DC metro area on a $174k salary. You don't need to live on Capitol Hill.
Clearly you don't. They're broke as fukk.I know a couple. They don't complain. Love living in DC.![]()

If they work for a a senator or representative they'd be better off bagging groceries for those paychecks.
No problem, Jason. Just as soon as you support universal healthcare, tuition free college and basic income for the rest of us.![]()
