So I learned today that CSM was influenced partially by Kizumonogatari. (As well as FCL, Dorohedoro, & JoJo.)

Rewatching the Araragi vs Kiss Shot fight really does remind me of how Denji vs Makima fight went. I can see the influence & makes sense, especially when Fujimoto mentioned it as an influence.



Also, it looks like Fujimoto based the Bomb Girl arc on Jin Roh the Wolf Brigade. Though I haven't seen that anime movie.

All the other women Denji's been with have been sociopaths of different extremes.

Breh deserves some happiness in his life. Come one Fujimoto giving him this one and them torture him however you want with other stuff.

I really want a happy ending for Denji. I like that Falling pointed out his stunted growth. This feels like a chance for him to really evolve and hopefully that becomes a reason to save Asa...without him turning into her ultimate weapon as a tradeoff.

But Fujimoto made Denji eat Nayuta. I've lost all hope for anything but pain. Each week, I start a chapter like

Honestly, not a surprise sales keep falling. The pacing of reading it by chapter is poor. The story and themes are there, but I feel the execution of those themes doesn't deliver and people don't resonate with it.

Though it's insane to think now Dandadan now sells more than CSM.

Yoru just throws random Bullshyt

Denji finally gets a woman who admits her feelings purely prob feels like he is being fooled. Although I am curious how Asa goes from this point in part 1. Perhaps leading her to be more leading Yoru instead of Yoru being in control most of the time and being reckless.

Yoru built the CSM equivalent to the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones .

I like this arc kinda flipping Asa and Denji's experience from the first encounter with Falling. Asa/Yoru literally bringing Denji back to Earth is a pretty dope bit of symbolism.

Oh yeah, that's true. Though it was Japanese Manga fans who complained to the point to where they got a complete different direction and director which plays a style more like with the manga.

This trailer was basically Mappa saying you guys better be happy now

I did like Asa getting back into control and telling Denji what she was going to do, but he didn't care

Though interesting Yoru hesitated. Tbh the people who were calling Yoru Makima 2.0 are looking dumb in retrospect.
