Basically DJ is the mentally challenged kid that you can tell anything to and he'll be like :krs:. Cuban and Parsons told this nicca everything he wanted hear...

Parsons..."DJ, you can be Shaq here and dominate the league and be the best big man to ever play the game".

DJ...:krs:

Doc, Paul and Blake were :smugfavre: because they knew if they had a chance to work on this special ass nicca they could get him to change up.

CP3..."I ain't know you had beef with me my nicca. I love you like a brother:mjcry:".

DJ...:to: :krs:

Former Maverick fan here. DJ made the right decision for himself----something about the Mavs didn't feel right obviously. He knew it was best to stay among his family of bruthas, even if they're not perfect. This situation is much deeper than a player changing his mind and I wouldn't expect Cacs to even overrstand. This is about culture and comfort. Times are changing and it's on time. DJ wouldn't have been comfortable in Dallas, as the Mavs organization has continually shown disloyalty to their players for years, even before their Championship. After helping Dallas to the WC finals in 2003, NVE was thrown under the bus and MC didn't have the common courtesy to give him a call. NVE was pissed. The following year, MC let Steve Nash walk after being loyal and having a hand in pulling the Mavs from the ranks of the laughing stock of the NBA. He treated the Canadian like a junkyard dog. Mark Cuban has been rejected by the following free agents: Alonzo Mourning, Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard, Gortat, Deron Williams, Al-Farouq Aminu, Monta Ellis, DeAndre Jordan, Michael Redd, Jason Kidd, Carmelo Anthony, etc. He hasn't landed one big fish in 15 years as a owner. The question becomes, 'Why can't Cuban land a big free agent?' 'Why are the big FA's passing up Dallas? Hmmm.....MC making comments about being scared of a black man in a hoodie did wonders for recruiting tier 1 players. All of the tier 1 black players have jumped ship and the tier 2 and 3 are happy to be getting paid. Amar'e Stoudemire will be signing with the Heat. What really happen between Carlisle (who I never liked) and Rondo? What's wrong with Dallas peeps? The elephant in the room nobody wants to address...stay tuned. Formers players will start talking in a min.
Good move DJ. :myman:
:patrice: didn't just tyson chandler just finish up a tenure in dallas :rudy:

:laff: you saying all this now but you were singing a different tune all week.
Breh I hate to break it to you, but the proof is in the pudding, DJ is a mental midget, he was ready to sign with the mavs, 2 minutes in parsons selling him a generic ass dream. Who the fukk does that :mindblown:
You mean all it took to pry DJ away from LA, was a couple lines from Parsons, stroking his ego :dahell:

I just like how throughout the whole transcript Parsons is acting like Deandre jordan is some Shaq-type of dominant player. He's an offensively limited, boneheaded, hyperathlete. Without an elite distributor to get him the ball and set him up he would be a horrible player in Dallas

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Lol, the person who lost the most in this was DJ. All the money aside, it sounded like he wanted to go to the mavs, but was pretty much treated like a child, and peer pressured into staying.
Love that Cuban and the Mavs got fukked over.

We were willing to throw this poor man's Dwight Howard the max but couldn't give Tyson the contract he wanted after the 2011 ring for a chance at repeating...:mjcry:

fukk Mark Cuban for breaking up that championship team for the chance at Deron fukking Williams.

fukk him for the apathetic comments during the Sterling ordeal.

fukk him for not keeping his mouth shut during the 06 Finals.

Honestly one of the worst situations in NBA history (still not on the level of trading Harden for nothing)

To just miss out on a guy who makes you an actual contender and not just a 8th seed at best that said he would come to you? Awful

You could build a franchise as boo boo as Dallas around him

I'm guessing they expected him to be a Shaq type that would just dominate in the paint hut never really develop any post moves
