Black men trying to be the face of the anti-PC movement is fukking stupid and I think this transsexual thing has gone too far but we need to play this shyt more smartly.

Him and Boosie chasing that ant-LBGTQ bag sad to see…but both are hard to cancel for different reasons.

Boosie a little bit more blatant tho because he trying to do anything to catch on knowing damn well he can’t be canceled. He been going at Nas X for awhile before Nas said some back and he went OD lol.

Chappelle coming off a little weird tho. Purposely kick up dust and get mad when the dust get in your eyes. Try to get fake cancelled for buzz brehs.

Boosie is a gay man fighting demons I don't think what he's doing is intentional it's more of a reaction.

Dave is trying to make social commentary but I think it's missing the mark

A lot of black men are too blinded by ignorance to understand that once the Anti-PC culture becomes reality that WE are enemy number one like we have always been in this country.

we already know the game and we're already blamed and are the target for everything.

It's just weird that Dave's made the defining theme of his comeback arc him Vs the gays over the course of four specials.

I kind of get it, because that's one of the main arenas where the landscape of comedy has shifted since his comedy central days so he could have something insightful to say about how social values have changed, which he did with his dababy material.

But, at the same time, most of his content on the LGBTetc in his current incarnation have leaned on "queers drive like this" jokes that were fairly obviously at the expense of that demographic. It wasn't really till the third act of the closer that he went out of his way to humanise them, and even then the whole bit was predicated on "I have a trans friend".

If he just peppered his sets with some really concise and funny jokes on the topic and then moved on he'd be good. That "impossible p*ssy" joke was classic Dave at his best: slightly goofy, very visual, undeniably hilarious.

But instead most of his takes on the subject took the form of rambling diatribes that weren't always in the service of comedy. If you're going to reinvent yourself as some kind of truth teller then don't be surprised when you get held to a higher standard than a jobbing road comic.

It comes off a little disingenuous to say "I don't have an issue with trans people" when he's made them the uniting focus of so much of his recent work. I really wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have strong feelings about them either way but just settled on this approach as a way to generate some kind of controversy for an artist in need of an edgy comeback who's otherwise been quietly living as a multimillionaire for the last two decades. Which would be a shame, because I think he's too much of a naturally gifted comic to spend the second wind of his career rolling around in this nonsense.

Would also like to hear where actual black trans people stand on his material.
Are you black ?

Your reaction is one of a person that doesn't realize how blatantly anti-black male society was prior to the 1970's /80's

"PC Culture is the only thing stopping cacs from openly labeling black boys from certain environments inherently dumb and violent and not worthy of tax dollars.

Without PC culture cacs would be find with no black people getting into top schools or working at top companies etc.

I haven't heard anyone relate an actual funny joke from the special, nor have I seen a single vid go viral from it with a funny joke. The entire discussion of the special is that it's "great" because Dave is saying whatever he wants. It's like praising a rap song for being lyrical miracle but...is it a good song or not? Where's "the funny"? Finding "the funny" used to be quite easy with a Dave special. He started with funny, got serious but mixed in funny, and then ended with more funny. Think about...the "how old is 15, really" bit and how funny that special was before, during and after that semi serious portion.

I haven't seen the new special. The previous Netflix ones weren't super funny, but had interesting and even fascinating moments. They were more interesting in what Dave was saying or trying to say. But even some of that was clumsy. I see people constantly bringing up Carlin, who got more serious in his later years...but Carlin never punched down on marginalized groups. And until someone can explain to me how trans people aren't marginalized because you can't denigrate them without facing consequences...I will remain puzzled by Dave's obsession with this. Like, there's so much going on in the world but you're still on trannies and gay nikkas?

Exactly, I'm not a fan of Trans using female bathrooms and so on but I'm mostly neutral to them in general.

I see "PC culture" as disempowering white men the most thus it's something worth keeping around in my opinion.

Bruh these nikkas brains like...

holy-cow-crap.gif

With all the mental gymnastics they putting themselves through trying to defend an illogical overreaction...

One of the comments these people got offended by was Dave saying all humans are born from a woman's p*ssy...

If you got offended by that your beef ain't with Dave, your beef is with biology and reality...

Dave said it best, to what extent do I have to participate in your self-image...

What really hit them was when he said he was team TERF. Which is a pejorative coined by a trans activist to denigrate real women feminists who had the balls to say trans women should stay out of some women spaces like sports.

To think this whole thing started from some jokes and a group of people demanding that they should not be made fun of….:mjlol:

It’s so fukking absurd.
