You either believe in art or you don't. Dreamville wasn't blowing budgets or costing the label money. Cole paid for damn near everything to the point that when they closed up shop he got a check (which he doled out to JID and the rest of those guys). Not finding that commendable because none of the artists went double platinum is corny. He ran that shyt how he wanted and didn't take a loss.

It's not like he tried to make Hot Rod blow with a Mary J single. He let those creators create and a lot more people know their names and talent because of it
