Drake opened up the door for people to emulate a style with his sing/rap shyt and he has a bunch of clones trying to use the same playbook but it doesn't really work in their favor to his level of success (IE: Ironically Tory Lanez ). But let me explain the difference. When Jay hops on your song and cosigns it,it makes people take the artist more seriously. Its added credibility to guys like Jeezy,Ross and probably even Drake. As far as being taken more seriously as rappers. A Jay cosign makes you say "Oh,this might be the next one to pay attention to"



Jays cosigns greater quality,making a nice jumpstart to a credible career. What does Cardi hopping on your record provide other than more streams,and a prolonged 15 minutes? While giving herself the needed visibility. Let her hop on some records that aint already popping,and see if she can jumpstart a female whos not already gon viral.
