Takeover was the better "song". He's right in that regard but you can't disregard Ether like it was schoolyard jokes. It was the tone of ether that makes it, Jay came at Nas with respect to his legacy like to be the king I gotta get u outta here. .. Nas sounded offended as tho some no named rapper trying to make a name for himself off the Smack DVD's came at him.
I prefer Jay's music because you gotta be in a certain mood to listen to Nas IMO but Ether wasn't just jokes if it was Jay doesn't do the classic "it's vulgar" interview.
