I've only had them from one source, a Haitian family, fried. Those things are delicious. I wouldn't want to eat them every day, but when they look out for me and cook me a plate of fried plantains along with rice and beans, it makes for a good dinner. They make me some cabbage and pepper concoction too. I forget what it's called, spicy as hell. Opens my sinus up, but it's delicious.
