the NBA isn't the worst it's ever been. The worst it's ever been, was about 12-15 years ago in the early 00's when the Lakers were winning.

But it is pretty bad now. Mainly because all these new players are so young and don't seem very fundamentally sound

His biggest gripe that I agree with is the over-emphasis on analytics. People like to bring up point totals/averages and shooting percentages when that shyt is for the most part a product of the way today's game is officiated.

Of course teams are gonna score more when you can't handcheck jump shooters or be the least bit physical when someone waltzes into the paint. Bragging about that is like bragging about current NFL passing numbers.
Have you ever watch any games from the 80s' in Youtube or NBA TV ? If you did, you would know that handcheck wasn't a frequent method to hinder offensive players from scoring. Old heads love to bring up handcheck in the past like it was best defensive tactic. The truth is the past players didn't use handcheck frequently in the defensive end.

This post is completely false breh

Handcheck was usd very frequently

It’s impxt may be exaggerated, but it was absolutely used

Why would you NOT handcheck if it’s legal :russ:

it depends what you mean by hand check because the hand check rules have changed 3 times in the NBA.

1978-79
Clarification added to prohibit hand-checking through “rigid enforcement” of rule allowing a defensive player to retain contact with his opponent so long as he does not impede his opponent’s progress.

so the defender back then had limited legal use of his hands
