In Texas, there is def some weird energy from Mexican men towards black men. The women is a different story, but from the men, It's more prejudice towards us than prejudice from black men towards them.
We had this conversation in the barbershop one time, where one of the barbers said that mexicans in america still believe in a racial hierarchy where the white man is still on top, and they're fine with that, as long as the black people are at the bottom. So they still look down on black men the same as the white man, except they don't have "white guilt" like some white people, because of thier history, so they don't have to posture as if they're not racist. They're not trying to fight white supremacy and tear it down. They're fine with it as long as the white people keep the foot off thier neck, and keep the foot on the necks of black men
