One of the most infuriating things to me about all the "far-left" smearing from the right is like...man, I fukking wish! It's so frustrating as an actual leftist because I'd be so grateful if there were any legitimate far left movement in this country. Everything is on the right. The Dems are right of center if they were in any other developed nation.

Like...there's ZERO far left in the United States, and these right wing dudes just keep talking like the Dems are far left? GTFO it's super enraging.

It doesn't help that the dem leadership agree with the republicans framing of the " far left", somehow they was able to get that name off by having their colleagues push it for them.

Exactly

There is no left wing movement in the US and they are plotting to making anything left of fascist the far left. It’s revolting, but there is an opportunity here if we in the left can get organized and start talking to regular people again.

Doubtful. Kamala ran to the RIGHT of Trump on multiple issues. All the leadership are 400 years old or young but still happy to defer and grandstand and in the end always bend to corporate powers that also fund the fascists. I fact, Dems tend to give up in advance on most issues. The only way a real left wing movement happens in the US (there's really never been one) is for the party system to completely blow up on both sides.

I’m not talking about politicians

I’m talking about people. There is an opportunity here. We shouldn’t be waiting for the politicians or dems for any guidance because that’s not their job–and this current iteration is the 90s GOP.

I agree with this, but first course of action has to be overthrowing current dem leadership. They have worked with republicans in helping them own all faucets of media in the hands of right wing billionaires and Obama era silicon valley people

That’s the point

Start a collective. Exchange ideas. Build and people come out of that collective and have similar ideas for the world.

The current Dem ideology will either be replaced or a new party will form.
