To be fair, I think you can sort of blame Vince for putting her in a fukked up ass situation.
Vince never gave a fukk about women's wrestling & pretty much only gave it any attention because Charlotte was Ric Flair's daughter, so yeah, she was overpushed.
So, really, the options were either have women's wrestling with Charlotte in the middle of it, or not have that much women's wrestling on the card.
None of this is Charlotte herself's fault.
I actually kind of feel bad about her, now. Shes absolutely hated because of things completely beyond her control.
She had no business winning. I get that they wanted to give her a big welcome back, but she gains nothing from winning the Rumble. If they hadn't booked Bianca into purgatory, Tiffany would have gained more going over her or Rhea (if she didn't already have a title) if they wanted to cement her as a big deal.
The fans never loved Charlotte like they did Becky and Sasha. Vince forced it and the fans have moved on from the 4 Horsewomen thing. Maybe the response was foreseen and they want to establish Stratton as a face, but I can't imagine they sent her out there to get that reaction on purpose.

Chuck as a wrestler had the biggest advantages and disadvantages you could ever have:
— Her dad being Ric Flair, meaning she was always gonna get a shot and have the machine behind her. Her being as good as she is, is literally a bonus.
— Her having the machine behind her meant she was never gonna get the love and crowd connection that Sasha, Becky, and Bayley had. She has fans and supporters, but she doesn’t get the genuine love that the other three get. She didn’t have the obvious superstar crossover appeal Sasha had, she wasn’t the plucky underdog that management saw as “The 4th One” that fans could latch onto her like Becky, and she wasn’t as endearing and easily lovable like Bayley. She was Ric’s kid, to both her success and detriment.
And because of how she’s been booked for the last decade, whatever goodwill she has is basically evaporated. I'm just glad the crowds are finally fed up with it. Charlotte could be a useful character because she's a classic heel and can actually wrestle but they telegraphed what they wanted her to be from the beginning.
She had more title reigns than Trish YEARS ago. They wanted her to have accolade after accolade despite whoever is hotter at the time so at the end of all this they can point to her and say in kayfabe best women's wrestler of all time.
The only woman she's truly put over is Rhea Ripley.
They've cooled off so many women for the sake of having Charlotte at the top of the division when a lot of them have lapped her in the time she spent injured.

I get that she can't control her booking. When had Charlotte ever had to overcome adversity in her career? What character development has she displayed? Other than her face, what's different about her since she debuted? Who has she elevated? She might have some memorable matches but none a single title reign has been memorable.

Look at the career arc of Liv Morgan who had to put in a hell of a lot of work and had to go through a lot of terrible angles. But I'm supposed to feel bad for Charlotte? Nah.

The only time people can say that she had to overcome adversity and has shown character development was during her time in NXT as a rookie and even that is debatable.
This and at this point she got more than enough pull to shoot down suggestions. I could understand if we were talking 6 years ago, but now a mf can speak up
