Nothing good happening in Charlotte at the moment: capped out, missing the playoffs, not finishing badly enough for a good spot in the lottery.

Yeah I can't imagine many worse franchise scenarios than Charlotte atm. No high end talent on the roster, bunch of bad contracts, no cap room, no high draft picks incoming. This thing needs to be broken down and rebuilt from the bottom up

Fizdale is the guy I want. Mark Jackson though? helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll no

and i'd be shocked if he ever coached around a hands-on team owner or front office again after the shyt he was trying to do in golden state

but naw.... only reason we missed the playoffs at all was because clifford lost us games the exact same way 20 times, refused to play his best players, and allowed howard to play defense independent of the rest of the team because of favoritism - and that was with over half of the rotation being injured to start the season too. if we wanted to tank we could've done it. you can count on one hand the number of middling teams in the NBA and its not because of anything other than principles towards putting a team willing to compete on the floor

this team not being better than or at least as good as indiana or milwaukee in the east is inexcusable

clifford getting propped as a great coach when he's really just discount larry brown blows my mind. dude spent the last two years trying to modernize the allen iverson 76ers philosphy and it never worked. only thing he changed up was his approach to screwing over young players.

Yall definitely underachievd and it made sense to me, why a squad so stacked with vets in their prime struggled.....

Y'all should have at least hit .500

our record in close games was putrid

if you're getting blown out every night, its on the talent not being there - but if your games are close and you can't win its on the coach not putting guys in a position to succeed

but its all good though

as somebody who goes to hornets games regularly, I expected them to at least compete for a 6-8 seed in the east. it just seem like Clifford never really adjusted after his initial success he was having. team had enough to compete. each game I seen was either start strong, then start fading once the other team switched up the strategy after half time. very disappointing considering that Dwight had a good year almost a resurgence.

they definitely overpaid for batum and Williams those deals hurt. I hope they maybe get fizdale or Jackson. I'd hope they keep kemba cause he actually wants to be there in spite of the all the unorganized mess going on. should have been playing monk more too, if you not going anywhere, you definitely let the younger players get run to get experience.

it seems like the hornets have been an awful treadmill team for over a decade now. they've made the playoffs maybe twice the last 10 years from what i can remember and got bounced both times by the heat. the GM who handed out those contracts was desperate to keep that playoff roster together and it ended up setting them back years. they need to get rid of their big contracts and trade kemba for any picks they can get at this point. let dwight walk and get a young coach to grow and develop at the same time as the roster. it worked out great for the 6ers.
