Y'all ever hear of luxury brands closing stores like that? I still see Prada, LV and Gucci stores everywhere. It's these cheap and midrange clothing stores that are shutting down.

If you're in business, you need to be serving the high end clientele.

We live in the social media age. Nobody is posting a selfie shouting out #GAP or #Express.

Tastes have changed. I don’t buy the more obvious luxury apparel - Gucci, LV, etc. - but I do limit my clothing purchases to high end gear of perfectly fitting construction, by brands you can’t cop in a mall.

We're getting to the point where people don't necessarily want to buy low midrange clothing like that. These stores more indicative of a healthier economy, people are saving up to bu upper level clothing or their buying off the outlet rack. The middle class clothing store is becoming a thing of the past. People don't even tag watch like they did in the 90's and early 2000s.
