And I had a sticked thread about Cardi B's new album but dude said that I'm "outdated" which confirms he''ll just say anything without doing a fact check.
You see that's the advantage people who actually are into the culture have, we are familiar with all era's. We aren't just stuck in the era we were raised in like they are. That's why they talk sideways about 80's Hip Hop while a real supporter of the culture can speak on 80's hip hop and the current era. They aren't real supporters of the overall culture.
Shut up just because you grew up in the ABC and 123 era of hip hop don’t mean shyt. The 90s was the best era of hip hop to me when it comes to lyrical ability. I’m more selective on who I listened to in the 80s I fukked with LL, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Krs One until he became a teacher, Public Enemy and NWA, With me saying that I didn’t fukk with Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Kurtis Blow, I liked Kool Moe Dee but he got washed by LL. Slick Rick is cool but wasn’t into him like that. I already said I would add LL in my top 10 if we talking 80s. But a lot of artists from that era got outshined by the 90s rappers.
