I getchu but Chauncy isn't that old or far removed from today's generation. I'm sure he can relate to all of them. Just another case of the white man's ice being colder.Young black men aren’t used to taking direction from older black men (for a multitude of reasons). They’ll buck the system or just flat out quit. If it’s acoach then they’ll run through a wall for him.
I think Chauncy came in too hot. He went with the old head, no nonsense, by the book approach with his style because this is his first job. I think the players would of been more receptive to him. You can't be Mike Tomlin right out of the gate, and thats where he messed up I think.
