" I want to win for my city"
Shuts it down after playing 30 mins in the all star game
I know, I just think his leadership was overrated. That team was talented and had a good seed. Most of melo's exits were against title contendersthey played in denver together too breh thats what he is referencing![]()

What would a guy that played with dude and won a championship in this league know about any of this? What's his dap/post ratio or rep looking like though?
. Melo is a perfect example of max talent/ability vs. being an actual max player. Max players are guys that have the superlative talent AND they can adjust to fit with other talent players and lead the way and get the most out of their teams even if they aren't that good.Yall talking about on his way out of the league billupsThen he would pull the ultimate fake hustle move by hiking up his shorts to make it look like he's playing tough defense![]()

I'm sorry....I don't see any ether other than you wanting to frame the conversation to your liking.only time Melo went to the WCF is when Billups was there..He is absolutely right.. When Billups was traded to the Nuggets, the team experienced something they hadn't done before.
Records don't lie..Billups was a great pick up and definitely helped Melo get out of the first round.
and @NYC Rebel ...he called melo a soldier .. someone that takes order from other people and can't do anything by himself..
fukk billups. Dude was a joke on the Knicks. His "leadership" was nothing but jacking ill timed 3s trying live up to the Mr Big Shot nickname
Thank you. He was nothing more then a inefficient chucking PG who took some retarded shots throughout the game.

Billups has more rings than Ewing, I'd trust his opinion on winning.
Where was Billups' “leadership” in the '09 WCF when 'Melo got sick in and needed Billups to help, and Billups responded by shooting 39.7% from the field, leading them to lose in 6 games that was really 5 games because the league cheated the Lake Show in game 5 to extend the series for money? Billups “leadership” had nothing to do with that run. 'Melo has been taking terrible teams to the playoffs every year of his entire career until Dolan decided to tank last season and this season. Where was Billups' “leadership” the following year when they lost in the 1st round, in 6 games, with Billups shooting less than 45%, and a putrid 2.3rpg?
