Kansas City, MO....as much as I use to complain about, I actually miss the down south friendliness to it. Affordable, and as long as you stay on the north side or Johnson County you'll be away from the First 48 camera crews. bytches is type easy and if you want to buy a house, you'll lol at the prices in nice neighborhoods in comparison to what these east coasters pay $$$$$$ for

A friend of mine visited some friend of his in Arkansas. He said the cost of living there is real cheap. Matter of fact he said its ppl who live there and survive by selling weed from Cali. They drive to cali (I think he said it takes like a day or so) by lbs and lbs of weed and drive back and sell it for profit. And if they get pulled over on the way back they just skim some weed off the top for the police and they let them go.

Down south in general is cheap.

Most parts of Michigan are fairly cheap too, you can get a reasonable apartment for under $500 a month, but the downsides are:

-Highest car insurance rates in the country
-Hard to find a job, and a lot of employers will pay crappy wages because they can get away with it

Most places in Texas and Florida are cheap. Not going to be Miami, but nice weather year round down in fla. Somewhere in central Florida you could find a spot. Avoid Jacksonville and the bad parts of Miami...end up living in the pork and beans and be on the first 48
