Most places in Texas and Florida are cheap. Not going to be Miami, but nice weather year round down in fla. Somewhere in central Florida you could find a spot. Avoid Jacksonville and the bad parts of Miami...end up living in the pork and beans and be on the first 48

Yeah, Texas is cheap. I was including it in the cheap category. I know the Panhandle is kinda cheap, and I'm not too familiar with central Florida, but Southern Florida is kinda pricey. I was considering settling down in that area, but ended up dropping it from my list.

Moving to the Louisville area in about three months. Looking for a condo, townhouse, duplex in SW Louisville close to Ft. Knox. Everything I've read says that black folks shouldn't think about living in that area. Any truth to that?

Id rather pay alittle more in a nice city/area than be a cheap ass and live in wack ass middle america. I live in one of the more expensive cities and its no biggy as long as your not a waiter at Applebee's who cant budget their money

ALOT of truth. That area is full of lower class rednecks.

South Louisville is where the rednecks live. West Louisville is the hood. East Louisville is your best bet, even though its further from Ft. Knox. There's all kinds of price ranges in the east depending on the neighborhood.
