Blatche and JR on the same team :merchant:

Cavs probably waiting on the Bucks to buyout Sanders.

I think the gamble could pay off. I do however think he would want to get consistent minutes and I don't think he will get that in Cleveland.

Moz has to stay healthy and he gets in foul trouble a lot so they really need some more beef up front. I think Blatche is the best available option now unless something happens in buyouts.

All jokes aside JR has been a god send. He's focused.

Yeah, I said before it's a shame Varejao got hurt, cause you guys do need another big more than you need a PG or shooter (Ray Allen). Blatche is primarily offensive minded, he'd be good but doesn't help much on defense.

JR is giving yall 15ppg and 37% from 3, he was supposed to be a throw but he ain't trying to let Iman live :dead:

Sidenote, who do you want in the draft? DX has yall at 21, that's a spot where you can find quality bigs (Gobert/Dieng level).

Yeah I know that Blatche isn't known for defense. He's just a large human being. I think they can put him in situations where he can alter shots and use his size as a benefit.

I'd only use him in situations that called for it like an injury or foul trouble.

Tristan has been shockingly better with his overall awareness during this streak. They have been putting him in situations where he can be successful as a rebounder and as a defender.

As far as th Draft, I want either a developmental big or a 3-4 hybrid that can play D and shoot.

They will have to replace Marion.

Blatche has talent but I'd only go after him as a last option but he'd be a okay pickup since it looks like Okafor isn't playing, even though he'd be perfect now since he wouldn't play significant minutes.

Tristan is playing well, honestly he's in the perfect role for his game, dude is basically Antonio/Dale Davis and when he goes against 2nd unit bigs they can't stop him and when he's going against first unit guys they can't free up a man to keep him off the boards since leaving someone open is a no no vs the Cavs.

DX has you taking Rondae Hollis Jefferson, with picks in that range I'd always go after a big to be honest, it's easier to find some wing glued to a bench that you can trade for (Moe Harkless) than it is to get a young quality big. You saw this summer how reluctant teams are to let big men go, the Wiz extending qualifying offer to Seraphin even though he barely plays. You still have the Haywood contract, who knows what you'll do with it though, could probably fill out the roster with backup PG and a replacement for Marion with it.

Rondae is actually an ideal pick. He wouldn't play next year more than likely but he has everything they would need in a back up to LeBron. Good size, rare wingspan, athletic, and defensive minded.

I agree with you about getting a big though. Especially since I feel that Varejao is done as a NBA player. That's a bad injury to get at his age with the type of game he plays. If he ends up medically retiring that money comes off the books.

That's the thing though, he's good but I'd just offer the Magic a 2nd rounder for Harkless, he clearly doesn't figure into their plans and he's pretty much the same player as Rondae except you can probably give him more minutes.

Yeah, I think Varejao is done as a productive player, he simply cannot stay healthy and being a hustle big his entire game is based around being reckless to an extent. Dude has always had ankle problems so tearing your Achilles like that is just a bad sign. This draft is heavy on big men, so somebody is going to be there that shouldn't.

Nah, Jakob Poeltl may be there as well, he's a little on the thin side right now but he's a solid shot blocker and excellent offensive rebounder right now. Legit 7 footer as well.

Yea will see we def can replace Marion with a pick but with Andy getting old the big man spot in this draft will be key

A lot of em were wide open but they shot way too many 3s trying to put the Pacers away in the 3rd. Then the game got close and Lebron stopped trusting the offense. An L on the road in a back-to-back aint bad but man they showed some bad habits tonight.

Agreed. They looked flat and the ball movement was horrible in stretches.

They've played a lot of games the past couple of weeks and Indiana looked energized and fresh.
